Associate Director of Sales - Holiday Inn Express Hyderabad Hitec City
Key Responsibilities:
Sales & Business Development
- Assist in developing and executing the hotel's sales strategy to achieve revenue targets.
- Identify and secure new corporate, government, travel agent, and leisure business opportunities.
- Maintain and grow existing client relationships to maximize repeat business.
- Conduct regular sales calls, client meetings, and hotel site inspections.
- Participate in sales missions, trade shows, and networking events.
Revenue Generation
- Support the achievement of monthly and annual room revenue budgets.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and business opportunities.
- Work closely with the Revenue Management team to maximize occupancy and ADR.
- Ensure effective negotiation of rates and contracts within approved guidelines.
Account Management
- Maintain accurate client records and sales activities in the designated CRM system.
- Follow up on leads and inquiries in a timely manner.
- Prepare account development plans for key clients.
Guest & Brand Standards
- Ensure all sales activities are conducted in line with IHG and Holiday Inn Express brand standards.
- Maintain strong relationships with guests and business partners.
- Address client concerns promptly and professionally.
Team Collaboration
- Work closely with Operations, Reservations, Front Office, and Revenue teams.
- Support the Director of Sales in preparing sales reports, forecasts, and business plans.
- Assist in mentoring and guiding junior sales team members.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
- Minimum 3–5 years of hotel sales experience, preferably with an international hotel brand.
- Strong understanding of hotel sales, revenue management, and market segmentation.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and hotel sales systems.
