The Hotel Finance Service Accountant is responsible for supporting day-to-day hotel finance service operations across core processes such as Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Income Audit and General Accounting. This role ensures timely and accurate transaction processing, account reconciliation, issue resolution, and compliance with established policies and service standards, contributing to stable operations and consistent service delivery across Greater China hotels.
Your day to day
Daily Finance Operations Support
• Perform day-to-day finance service activities across accounts payable, accounts receivable, income audit and general accounting in accordance with defined procedures and service levels.
• Ensure timely and accurate processing of invoices, payments, journal entries, reconciliations, cash applications and month-end support activities.
Control, Accuracy and Issue Resolution
• Review transactions and supporting documentation to ensure completeness, accuracy and compliance with company policies, delegated authority and control requirements.
• Investigate routine exceptions, reconcile variances, follow up on outstanding items and resolve operational issues with hotels and internal stakeholders in a timely manner.
Service Delivery and Continuous Improvement
• Maintain accurate records and provide responsive support to hotels and cross-functional teams to ensure smooth day-to-day service delivery.
• Identify recurring process issues, share improvement ideas and support implementation of standard operating procedures and process enhancements.
What we need from you
Education & Experience
• 3+ years relevant (CA/AR/AP) experiences in hotel finance operation, preferably in full-service hotels, or hospitality shared services.
Technical Skills & Knowledge
• Sound understanding of core accounting principles and finance processes including AP, AR, income audit, reconciliations and general ledger support.
• Proficiency in finance systems and Microsoft Excel, with the ability to process transactions accurately and maintain supporting records.
• Good attention to detail, problem-solving capability and ability to manage routine priorities within agreed timelines.
• Effective communication and stakeholder management skills to work with hotels and cross-functional teams on operational matters.
