Engineering Technician - Carpenter | InterContinental Pokhara Resort

In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and enhancing the resort’s wooden structures, furniture, and fixtures, while also supporting general maintenance tasks beyond carpentry.

A little taste of your day-to-day:

Every day is different, but you’ll mostly be:

• Inspect guest rooms, villas, public areas, and back-of-house spaces to identify repair and maintenance needs.
• Repair and maintain wooden fixtures such as doors, windows, furniture, cabinets, flooring, and decorative elements.
• Carry out polishing, varnishing, and finishing work to maintain high aesthetic standards.
• Install new furniture, fittings, partitions, and custom woodwork as required.
• Perform accurate measurements, cutting, and assembly of materials.

What We need from you:

• Proven experience in carpentry (experience in hotels or resorts preferred).

• Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Understanding of safety practices and tool handling.
