Auckland has officially welcomed New Zealand’s first Hotel Indigo to the neighbourhood. The “City of Sails” sets the backdrop for this boutique upper-upscale hotel, drawing inspiration from local artists for its design, service, amenities, food and beverage. The 225-room hotel is part of a mixed-use development in Auckland Central, with stunning views of the city and Auckland’s iconic harbour. It's among Auckland’s tallest buildings, maintaining the façade of the original historic building with a new world-class hotel to accompany and honour its heritage listing.

As we are preparing to open, we are now seeking a Pastry Sous Chef to join our team and help bring these venues to life. In this role, you’ll be instrumental in crafting our pastries and desserts. You will have the opportunity to shape our pastry offering while maintaining the highest standards of quality and authenticity that our guests expect.

What we need from you: 

• A passion for crafting extraordinary pastry experiences that delight and inspire 
• A creative eye and desire to be part of bringing the vision to life 
• Prior experience as a Pastry Chef or in a similar role
• Full working rights within New Zealand with no restrictions
