The Product Manager coordinates with Distribution subject matter experts to execute defined connectivity onboarding, configuration, and support activities for third-party partners. In this role, the Product Manager supports third-party connectivity across the Distribution ecosystem by contributing to partner engagement, onboarding, integration, and ongoing connectivity operations and performance. This position collaborates extensively with senior distribution product managers to ensure seamless integration operations and is responsible for executing a roadmap that aligns with portfolio priorities and guidance from the Manager, Integration Solutions.
Your day to day
Strategy, Roadmap & Lifecycle
Execute product strategy aligned to Distribution and Manager, Integration Solutions direction: future state based on deep understanding of how the business works, incorporating customer insights, markets, competition, and distribution capabilities as well as the potential “game changing” new functionality and capabilities IHG will require to compete.
Continually evaluate operational connectivity performance and onboarding effectiveness, and provide technical insights to inform improvements.
Partner Onboarding & Product Delivery
Drive partner onboarding and integration delivery by defining and executing repeatable onboarding steps (intake, requirements, implementation, testing/certification, launch, and post-launch support) in partnership with distribution account managers, operations, and internal stakeholders.
Document and maintain connectivity requirements to support partner onboarding, maintenance, and approved integration enhancements.
Operational Performance & Stakeholder Enablement
Measure product and technical performance and lead performance improvement initiatives.
Identify and understand performance drivers and maintain ongoing diagnostics, monitoring, and reporting capabilities once implemented.
Support connectivity operations, maintenance, and enhancements
Act as a subject matter expert in connectivity execution, including integration behavior, configuration standards, and third-party message flows.
What we need from you / Required Qualifications
Experience
6+ years of experience in travel distribution and product management, with strong knowledge of GDS, OTA channels, and end-to-end partner integration (requirements, testing/certification, launch, and post-launch support).
Skills and Technical Experience
Experience managing projects from conception through implementation, with strong attention to detail and ability to handle multiple priorities, stakeholders, and clients.
Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills, with the ability to conduct research, interpret data, and drive informed product decisions.
Effective communication and stakeholder management skills, with experience in API integrations, data modeling, and use of prototyping and formal requirements methodologies (e.g., vision, scope, use cases).
Please note that this is a hybrid position and requires going to the Guadalajara office 4 times per week
