InterContinental Dubai Marina is a Five Star luxury hotel in the heart of Dubai Marina with 328 rooms and residence suites, flexible event space and restaurants & bars. With over 30 languages and countries represented by the staff, the hotel weaves together an international five-star presence.
Your responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:
- Collaborate with department heads to identify staffing needs.
- Conduct interviews, select candidates, and coordinate the onboarding process.
- Establish and maintain relationships with external recruitment agencies, ensuring a strong pipeline of qualified candidates.
- Implement creative and effective methods to attract and retain talent, including the use of social media and other innovative channels.
- Address and resolve employee concerns, fostering a positive and inclusive workplace culture.
- Assist in the development and implementation of employee engagement initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with local labor laws and hotel policies.
- Update and communicate HR policies as needed.
- Facilitate professional development opportunities for employees.
- Provide guidance to managers on performance-related matters.
- Address benefit-related queries and concerns.
- Collaborate on the development and implementation of employee wellness initiatives.
Ideally, you'll have some or all of the following qualifications and experience we're looking for:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
- Proven experience in human resources management within the hospitality industry.
- Knowledge of UAE labor laws and regulations.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
