Your Day to Day

As the Asst. Restaurant Cafe Manager, you will responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our Treat Cafe, including the preparation of beverages, customer service, and administrative tasks.  You will develop and implement strategies to improve the Treat Cafe outlet's profitability while ensuring guest satisfaction in accordance with the hotel standards. 

A little taste of your day-to-day:

Every day is different, but you’ll mostly be:

  • Manage day-to-day operations of the coffee shop
  • Train employees on drinks preparation and proper use of coffee equipment
  • Coordinate with vendors and order supplies, as needed
  • Add new menu items based on seasonality and customers’ preferences
  • Advise staff on the best ways to resolve issues with clients and deliver excellent customer service
  • Ensure all cafe areas are clean and tidy
  • Nurture friendly relationships with customers to increase loyalty and boost our reputation
  • Manage and review financial reports to enhance business operations
  • Implement innovative strategies to improve productivity and sales

What We Need From You

Ideally, you'll have some or all of the following competencies and experience we're looking for:

  • Proven work experience as a Coffee Shop Manager or similar role in the hospitality industry
  • Hands-on experience with professional coffee machines
  • Similar experience in a luxury hotel and/or resort
  • Bachelor’s degree / higher education qualification / equivalent in Hotel Management, culinary arts, or related field
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to multitask
