What is the job ?

The position is accountable for soliciting and handling sales opportunities. Ensures business is turned over properly and in a timely fashion for proper service delivery. Conducts day-to-day activities related to sales with a focus on building long-term, value-based customer relationships that enable achievement of sales objectives. To analyse local market trends and competitor activity to recommend strategies that keep the hotel a leader in the marketplace through the development of future and repeat business.

Your day to day 

Identify and develop potential clients in specified offline segments and incorporate into Sales Pipelines 

• Acquire thorough knowledge of respective accounts and their hospitality needs 

• Promote all the hotel’s products and services   

• Conduct regular / daily sales visits identifying new accounts 

• Understand client requirements and ensure that the products and services offered correspond effectively to their request

• Provide after-sales service recovery and ensure that all clients’ feedback are taken seriously and escalated to relevant top management if necessary   

• Meet and exceed given Top-line revenue objectives 

• Achieve set revenue targets for respective segments  

• Ensure cost effective sales activities are practices at all times 

• Work to increasing hotel profitability implementing yielding strategy whenever is needed 

• Ensure accurate and timely reporting on the market and competition analysis   

• Ensure accurate and timely reporting in sales activities, sales pipelines and all other assigned reports and task   

• Any other duties and responsibilities as and when directed by 

 

the HOD as deemed necessary, relevant and related to the scope of works 

 

 

What we need from you 

 

Minimum of 2-3 years Sales experience in 5* Hotel property preferable in cluster role · Self confident with strong market awareness · Proactive and detailed · Hospitality degree or equivalent · Excellent customer relations, problem solving and time management skills · Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office and Opera Sales · Proven ability to creating new business opportunities · Assertive, professional and positive with a proven ability to develop in a team environment · Must be able to work independently and maintain a positive attitude within a very busy environment · Valid driver's license is preferred.
