As the Food and Beverage Manager at Crowne Plaza Terrigal, you will primarily be responsible for overseeing the operations of our restaurant Meribella, whilst also being accountable for the smooth operations of Sea Salt, Room Service and Banqueting. You will ensure exceptional guest experience, maintain high standards of service and quality, whilst empowering and elevating your team.
Your day to day:
Ignite excellence in operations:
- Lead by example in setting high standards for operational excellence. Ensuring every aspect of Meribella and the other outlets you are responsible for run smoothly and efficiently. This includes:
- Making sure the F&B equipment is in operational condition and cleaned to benchmark standards.
- Work with management on the implementation of OH&S related initiatives.
- Whilst ensuring guest experiences are second to none, you will also understand the importance of monitoring the budget, controlling costs and maximising opportunities to drive revenue.

- You will lead your team to delight our guests with impeccable service and superb cuisine.
- In creating memorable guest experiences, you will respond to any situation promptly and with empathy. You will have a genuine commitment to exceed the expectations of our guests. You will strive to exceed the ‘guest heartbeat’ feedback targets.

- Professional training in food and beverage management is preferred
- Demonstrated leadership experience in an F&B management related position, preferably within a hotel environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong leadership skills in managing a team to drive for results
- Ability to manage complex relationships and multiple stakeholders
- Ability to inspire passion, enthusiasm and positivity in the team to drive an engaged, winning culture.
- Flexibility – must be available to work mornings, nights, weekends and public holidays if required.
- Alcohol awareness certification and/or food service permit or valid health/food handler card, as required by local law
