An exciting opportunity to lead the 576-room voco Seoul Myeongdong, located in one of Seoul's most vibrant shopping, dining and entertainment districts.

With convenient access to Seoul Station, the central business district and major cultural attractions, the hotel caters to both international and domestic leisure and business travellers. Facilities include an all-day dining restaurant, indoor swimming pool, fitness centre, lounge and meeting spaces.

We are looking for an experienced hospitality leader with strong Rooms operations expertise, proven experience in the Korean market and the commercial acumen to drive operational excellence, strengthen market positioning and deliver sustainable business performance.

The role

• Lead all aspects of hotel operations, with a strong focus on Rooms performance, guest satisfaction and service excellence.
• Drive commercial strategies to maximise revenue, market share and profitability.
• Drive ADR growth through effective pricing and revenue management strategies.
• Maximise F&B revenue and profitability across all service periods in a highly competitive market.
• Strengthen the hotel's competitive positioning across corporate, leisure and group segments.
• Build and develop a high-performing team, fostering a culture of accountability and operational excellence.
• Work closely with ownership and IHG to achieve business objectives and maximise asset value.

What we need from you

• Proven General Manager experience within an internationally branded upscale or upper-upscale hotel, ideally a large-scale, Rooms-driven property. Previous IHG experience would be an advantage.
• Strong Rooms operations expertise with a track record of driving operational excellence, guest satisfaction and profitability.
• Proven experience in the Korean hospitality market is essential, with a strong understanding of local market dynamics and business practices.
• Strong commercial acumen, people leadership and stakeholder management skills.
• Korean language proficiency would be an advantage.
