As a Housekeeping Supervisor, you will play a key role in ensuring our guest rooms, suites and public areas consistently reflect the exceptional cleanliness, presentation and attention to detail expected of the InterContinental brand. Leading by example, you will support and inspire our Housekeeping team to deliver outstanding service, maintain operational excellence and create memorable experiences for every guest.

Working closely with Room Attendants, Housepersons, Public Area Attendants and other resort departments, you will help ensure seamless room readiness, smooth guest arrivals and departures, and a welcoming environment throughout the resort.

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

• Supervise and support Room Attendants, Housepersons and Public Area Attendants.
• Inspect guest rooms and public areas to ensure InterContinental cleanliness and presentation standards are met.
• Coordinate room readiness for guest arrivals and departures.
• Ensure guest requests are actioned promptly and housekeeping pantries remain clean and stocked.
• Coach team members, provide feedback and support their development.
• Report maintenance issues and uphold workplace health and safety standards.
• Assist with daily operations and support colleagues as required.

Base rate $31.75 + penalties + loading

To be successful in this part-time role, you will have:

• Previous housekeeping experience within a hotel or resort, preferably in a luxury or five-star environment.

• Supervisory experience or the ability to lead, motivate and support a diverse team.

• A strong eye for detail and a commitment to maintaining exceptional cleanliness and presentation standards.

• Excellent communication, organisational and time-management skills.

• The ability to prioritise tasks and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

• A proactive, hands-on approach with a passion for guest satisfaction and service excellence.

• A commitment to workplace health and safety and following established procedures.

• Flexibility to work a rotating roster, including weekends and public holidays, as required.
