- Your day to day
Lead financial readiness activities for new hotel openings and conversions, supporting budgets, cash flow planning, funding requirements, and financial compliance to ensure hotels are prepared for a successful launch. - Provide hands-on finance leadership during hotel openings, partnering with hotel teams to establish reporting processes, financial controls, payment procedures, and operational finance capabilities from day one.
- Implement governance frameworks, risk controls, and compliance processes to ensure strong financial discipline, accurate reporting, and a smooth transition into stable operations.
- Lead finance systems implementation and readiness activities, coordinating testing, configuration, go-live support, and process adoption across multiple hotel openings and projects.
- Partner closely with owners, General Managers, hotel finance leaders, and regional stakeholders to provide clear financial guidance, resolve issues, build capability, and support hotels through their post-opening stabilisation phase
- What we need from you
Significant finance experience, ideally gained within hospitality, hotel openings, operations finance, audit, or multi-unit business environments, with a strong understanding of financial controls and governance. - Proven ability to lead projects and manage multiple stakeholders, with experience driving financial readiness, systems implementation, or operational improvement initiatives.
- Strong commercial and operational mindset, with the ability to balance strategic thinking and hands-on execution in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, with the confidence to partner with owners, hotel leadership teams, and cross-functional stakeholders.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, or a related discipline, supported by extensive experience in finance leadership, hotel operations, or project-based environments.
