Purpose of the Role

Provide dedicated finance ownership of spend management across Americas System Fund, ensuring scalable processes, governance, and accurate financial execution, while enabling the business to operate efficiently.

Individual Accountabilities

  • Own end-to-end spend intake, PO creation, and financial governance for Americas System Fund 
  • Ensure accurate funding allocation, cost center, and GL mapping across all spend 
  • Establish and enforce standardized intake process (pre-PO controls and documentation) 
  • Create and manage POs aligned to approved structure and governance requirements 
  • Track full lifecycle: request → approval → PO → invoicing → closure 
  • Maintain centralized spend tracking and reporting across all funds and programs 
  • Provide monthly reporting, variance analysis, and spend insights 
  • Partner with Global Sales (GSO), ACRM, and business teams to clarify spend intent and structure 
  • Ensure adherence to DOA, audit requirements, and System Fund governance standards 
  • Identify and mitigate risks related to misallocation, coding, and incomplete approvals 
  • Drive process standardization, simplification, and automation opportunities 
  • Support FBPs by shifting spend management burden away from analytical roles

  • External interfaces: External Auditors, Vendors / Agencies (via Procurement), Owners Association (as applicable)
