Key Accountabilities


•    Team Leadership & Mentorship: Guiding, mentoring, and fostering the professional growth of junior and mid-level production designers.
•    Production Oversight: Leading the end-to-end production process for all major marketing initiatives, ensuring quality and strategic alignment from concept to final delivery.
•    Brand Guardianship: Acting as a primary authority for upholding and enforcing brand guidelines across all marketing deliverables produced by the team.
•    Workflow Optimization: Establishing, documenting, and refining production workflows, processes, and standards to enhance team efficiency, quality, and scalability.
•    Final Quality Control: Serving as the final checkpoint for all assets, ensuring technical accuracy, brand compliance, and readiness for printers, vendors, and digital platforms.
•    Vendor Management: Acting as the senior liaison for external production vendors, troubleshooting complex issues, and ensuring optimal results.

•    Asset Delivery Rate: Percentage of marketing assets delivered on time, on budget, and without errors.
•    Team Efficiency: Measurable improvements in project turnaround times and production capacity through workflow optimizations.
•    Brand Compliance Score: Consistently high scores on internal audits for brand consistency across all executed materials.
•    Reduction in Revisions: Decrease in the number of revision cycles required for projects, indicating clearer direction and higher quality initial output.
•    Team Skill Development: Tangible growth in the skills and autonomy of mentored designers, observed through performance reviews and project outcomes.

•    Campaign Execution Success: Partnering with Creative Directors, Art Directors, and Marketers to ensure the successful and seamless execution of marketing campaigns.
•    Global Brand Consistency: Collaborating with localization and regional marketing teams to ensure a consistent yet culturally nuanced brand presence worldwide.
•    Strategic Project Scoping: Working with Project Managers and marketing leads to accurately define project scope, timelines, and production requirements.
•    Maintaining Design Integrity: Collaborating with creative designers to translate high-level concepts into production-ready files without compromising the original creative vision.

Educational Attainment


•    Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.  While a formal degree in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, or a related field is preferred, it is not strictly required. A robust portfolio and extensive professional experience are paramount.
•    Certifications in Adobe Creative Suite, color management, or specific production software are highly valued.


Critical Experience & Expertise


•    8+ years of professional production design experience, including demonstrated leadership or mentorship in a senior capacity.
•    Expert-level proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop) and strong knowledge of Figma.
•    Deep, strategic understanding of print production workflows, color management (CMYK, RGB, Spot), paper stocks, and print finishes.
•    Advanced typography skills, with proven experience managing global type systems and multi-language font sets.
•    Proven experience leading the execution of complex, transcreated marketing campaigns for international markets.
•    Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to manage projects and mentor team members effectively.


Technical Skills & Knowledge


•    Expert proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite: InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop 
•    Strong working knowledge of Figma for digital layout, collaboration, and asset handoff. 
•    Deep knowledge of CMYK, RGB, Pantone, spot colors, ICC profiles, and color workflows. 
•    Expertise in file preparation, preflight checks, proofing, and vendor specifications. 
•    Familiarity with Digital Asset Management (DAM) systems. 
•    Understanding of digital ad specs and delivery requirements across major platforms. 
•    Knowledge of accessibility standards and inclusive design best practices. 
•    Proficiency in font licensing, embedding, and output for print and digital media.    
•    Final File Approval: Final sign-off on all production-ready files before they are sent to vendors or platforms.
•    Production Workflow & Standards: The authority to define, document, and implement new production processes and best practices for the team.
•    Technical Specifications: Determining the correct technical specifications, color profiles, and file formats for all outgoing assets.
•    Vendor Communication: Final say on technical feedback and issue resolution with print and production vendors.
•    Asset Library Management: Deciding the structure, organization, and management protocols for the team's digital asset management (DAM) system.

•    Creative Feasibility: Providing strategic input during the creative development process on the technical feasibility and production efficiency of concepts.
•    Project Timelines & Resourcing: Advising project managers on realistic timelines, potential production hurdles, and resource allocation for design tasks.
•    Technology & Tool Adoption: Recommending and evaluating new software, tools, and plugins to improve the team's production capabilities.
•    Hiring Decisions: Influencing the hiring of new production designers by participating in interviews and portfolio reviews.
•    Overall Brand Guidelines: Providing expert feedback and suggestions for the evolution of the company's brand and style guides based on production realities.
