Ready to keep things moving behind the scenes? We’re looking for a Receiving / Store Assistant to join our Finance team at InterContinental Ras Al Khaimah Mina Al Arab Resort & Spa. You’ll play an important role in ensuring goods are received, checked, stored and issued accurately, while keeping our storerooms organised and our inventory properly controlled.
● Check deliveries for correct quantities, quality and condition before acceptance
● Issue food, beverage and other store items in line with hotel procedures
● Maintain proper stock levels and accurate records of all items received and issued
● Rotate stock correctly to minimise wastage, spoilage and deterioration
● Safeguard inventory and report any damaged, obsolete or deteriorated stock
● Keep storerooms clean, organised and maintained to required hygiene standards
● Prepare, code and record requisitions according to the established issue schedule
● Around 2 years of experience in purchasing, accounting or a similar function, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
● Basic knowledge of computerised financial reporting systems and programs
● Good numerical skills with the ability to check invoices, calculations and stock records accurately
● Strong attention to detail and good organisational skills
