Responsibilities:

Sales Leadership

  1. Develop, implement, and oversee strategic sales plans to achieve and exceed revenue goals.

  2. Lead by example to inspire the sales team in achieving individual and collective targets.

  3. Identify key market segments and business opportunities to enhance market share.

Business Development

  1. Build and maintain relationships with corporate clients, travel agents, and event planners to generate business.

  2. Identify and pursue new revenue streams through proactive sales initiatives.

  3. Conduct sales calls, client meetings, site inspections, and presentations to showcase the hotel’s unique offerings.

Account Management

  1. Manage a portfolio of high-value accounts, ensuring consistent communication and relationship-building.

  2. Negotiate contracts and agreements to maximize revenue and meet client needs.

  3. Analyze account performance and develop strategies to address revenue shortfalls.

Collaboration and Coordination

  1. Work closely with other departments, including Events, F&B, and Front Office, to ensure seamless service delivery for client bookings and events.

  2. Provide timely and accurate sales reports, forecasts, and market analyses to the Director of Sales & Marketing.

  3. Represent the hotel at industry events, trade shows, and networking functions to promote the brand.

Client Experience:

  1. Ensure top-tier service delivery to clients, addressing inquiries, and resolving concerns promptly.

  2. Gather and analyze client feedback to drive continuous improvement in service quality.

Team Development:

  1. Mentor and coach junior sales staff, fostering a high-performing and collaborative team environment.

  2. Support recruitment and onboarding of new sales team members, ensuring alignment with the hotel’s culture and goals.


Qualifications:

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field.

  • Minimum of 3-5 years of progressive sales experience in the hospitality industry, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.

Skills and Competencies:

  • Strong leadership, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.

  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and driving revenue growth.

  • Comprehensive knowledge of market trends, competitor analysis, and sales techniques.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and hotel sales systems.

Other Requirements:

  • Flexibility to work irregular hours, including evenings and weekends, as needed.

  • Proficiency in Bahasa & English (additional languages are an advantage).
