IHG is seeking a Senior Analyst with a strong background in data science and advanced analytics to lead critical efforts in monitoring and diagnosing the health of our systems. As a Senior Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in evaluating and enhancing the performance of our systems, leveraging advanced analytics to drive operational excellence across IHG’s extensive portfolio. Collaborating with global and regional teams, you’ll develop performance models, optimize system health, and uncover insights that fuel commercial success for IHG hotels.  

Your day to day

·       Explore and evaluate system developments, driving enhancements to processes and programs through advanced data analysis.

·       Partner with stakeholders to develop and implement scalable analytical platforms for system evaluation and diagnosis.

·       Deliver actionable insights and recommendations to stakeholders through compelling presentations and reports.

·       Build and manage scalable platforms to standardize health evaluation, calibration, and diagnostics.

·       Provide data-driven insights by performing complex data analyses using tools like SQL, Python, Looker Studio/Tableau, and more.

·       Communicate findings clearly and effectively to various audiences, ensuring timely and actionable insights.

What we need from you

·    8+ years of progressive education and work experience in the travel industry, analytics, or related fields, with demonstrated proficiency in         multiple processes relevant to the role.

·       Proficiency in SQL and advanced data query tools, with expertise in data extraction and manipulation.

·       Advanced skills in analytical tools such as Python, R, Excel, and frameworks like PyTorch and TensorFlow.

·       In-depth understanding of revenue management principles, particularly within the hospitality industry.

·   

Location - Our hybrid work structure is an expectation of three (3) days a week in office.  This expectation may be adjusted to evolve with the changing needs of the business.

The salary range for this role is $58,844 to $ 135,000 This role is also eligible for bonus pay.  We offer a comprehensive package of benefits including paid time off, medical/dental/vision insurance, 401K, and other benefits to employees.
