As the Training Supervisor for F&B Division at ANA InterContinental Tokyo, you will play a key role in leading and managing a team of departmental trainers responsible for various outlets, including Cascade Café, Brewer’s, Steakhouse, Unkai, Karin, Akasaka, Pierre Gagnaire, and Davinci. Your primary objective will be to oversee and enhance the training programs within each outlet, ensuring consistent and high-quality people development across the F&B Division. Reporting directly to the Learning and Development Manager, you will be responsible for designing, delivering, and evaluating training programs for various roles within the F&B division, ensuring the continuous enhancement of skills and knowledge.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Training Program Oversight:
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of departmental trainers, ensuring alignment with overall training objectives.
- Collaborate with departmental trainers to design, implement, and evaluate training programs for each outlet.
2. Leadership and Development:
- Provide leadership and guidance to departmental trainers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and development.
- Conduct regular training sessions for departmental trainers to enhance their skills in delivering effective training programs.
3. Performance Evaluation:
- Establish and implement performance metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of training initiatives within each outlet.
- Provide constructive feedback to departmental trainers to enhance their individual and team performance.
4. Collaboration with Department Heads:
- Work closely with department heads to identify specific training needs within each outlet of the F&B Division.
- Collaborate on the development of targeted training programs to address departmental challenges and opportunities.
5. Collaboration with L&D Manager:
- Work closely with the Learning and Development Manager to align training initiatives with overall organizational goals.
- Participate in the development and implementation of hotel-wide training strategies.
6. Training Documentation and Reporting:
- Ensure accurate documentation of training activities, including attendance records, training materials, and evaluation results.
- Generate regular reports on training effectiveness and areas for improvement.
Requirements:
<Must>
- Japanese - Business level (above JLPT N2) / English - Business level
- Proven experience in a supervisory or leadership role within the hospitality industry, with a focus on training and development.
- Strong knowledge of F&B operations, restaurants and bars.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office and training software/tools.

- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and project management skills.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and adapt to changing circumstances.
