Great Club InterContinental Memories come from many places. The sights, sounds, scents and importantly the service. As a Club InterContinental Attendant, you’ll welcome our guests to the lounge, complete appropriate check in and checks outs and recommend food and drink and help keep service on track by creating memorable and meaningful experiences.

A little taste of your day-to-day:  

  • Deliver elevated luxury experiences and guests receive an exclusive personalised experience
  • Ensure appreciated recognition is provided to our most exclusive guests
  • Acknowledge IHG Rewards members, InterContinental Ambassadors & returning guests, in person or on the phone
  • Stay safe all the time. Following our safety procedures, you’ll report all incidents and wear any protective equipment needed
  • Stay one step ahead of guests needs – record and act on preferences
  • Handle cash and credit card transactions 
  • Swiftly check in and out guests – take ID’s, hand out room keys 
  • Be a trusted contact for all guests. Help them with anything from billing to local knowledge and advise leadership when necessary 
  • Take pride in your appearance and place as a brand ambassador 
  • Always know what events and activities are on the days schedule 
  • Jump into other ad-hoc duties when your colleagues need your help

What we need from you 

  • Communication skills – guests will need to come to you with concerns as well as compliments, so you’ll be easy to talk to 
  • Your problem-solving skills will turn issues into opportunities so every guest leaves with great memories 
  • Fluency in English – extra language skills would be great, but not essential. Flexibility– night, weekend and holiday shifts are all part of the job 
  • Compliant – you’ll be above minimum age required and hold RSA Certification 
  • Strong – sometimes you’ll need to lift, push, pull big objects up to 23kgs.
