Key Responsibilities

Housekeeping Operations

  • Supervise daily cleaning of guest rooms, corridors, and public areas.
  • Ensure rooms are cleaned and released on time as per operational requirements.
  • Conduct room inspections to maintain cleanliness and presentation standards.
  • Ensure housekeeping supplies, linen, and amenities are adequately stocked.
  • Coordinate with Front Office regarding room status updates and guest requests.
  • Handle special cleaning tasks and VIP room preparations.

Team Supervision

  • Allocate daily tasks and responsibilities to housekeeping associates.
  • Conduct shift briefings and communicate operational priorities.
  • Monitor grooming, attendance, and discipline of team members.
  • Train and guide associates on cleaning procedures and brand standards.
  • Support new team members during orientation and training.

Guest Service

  • Respond promptly and professionally to guest requests and complaints.
  • Ensure guest privacy and security are maintained at all times.
  • Deliver a positive guest experience through cleanliness and service quality.

Inventory & Maintenance

  • Monitor usage of cleaning chemicals, linen, and guest supplies.
  • Report maintenance issues and follow up for timely resolution.
  • Ensure proper handling and storage of housekeeping equipment and chemicals.

Safety & Compliance

  • Follow hotel health, hygiene, and safety standards.
  • Ensure compliance with hotel SOPs and brand standards.
  • Promote safe working practices within the department.
  • Handle lost and found procedures according to hotel policy.

Qualifications

  • Diploma/Degree in Hotel Management preferred.
  • Minimum 2–3 years of housekeeping experience.
  • Previous supervisory experience preferred.
