Mohamed Mahmoud is one of IHG’s most experienced luxury leaders in the Middle East, with 25 years in the region – the vast majority at InterContinental Hotels & Resorts. His journey reflects exceptional dedication and adaptability, having held roles across Rooms, Operations and eventually General Management, consistently delivering results and leading with integrity. 

He has overseen the pre-opening and repositioning of several flagship properties, including InterContinental Ras Al Khaimah and, more recently, the launch of Kimpton Dubai. Mohamed is a strategic thinker with a strong commercial acumen and a reputation for excellence in service delivery. But above all, he’s a passionate team builder who leads by example, instills pride in his people, and brings out the best in every hotel he leads.
