Duties and Responsibilities 

Monitor the daily operations of revenue and reservations teams

  • Monitor the daily operations of revenue and reservations teams
  • Control rooms inventory including allocation and reservations to areas of maximum yield and blackout dates
  • Develop and implement pricing strategies to maximize room revenue and occupancy
  • Track sales programs/promotions/advertising and provide feedback as necessary to relevant departments
  • Track and establish pick up trends, occupancy history and market segment development to facilitate forecasting
  • Prepare and analyze daily, weekly, and monthly forecasts for room revenue.
  • Analyze booking patterns, market trends, and economic data to inform pricing decisions
  • Monitor allotments 
  • Adjust strategies based on forecast performance and market trends
  • Manage room inventory to ensure optimal occupancy and revenue
  • Monitor the reservations team to ensure inventory is accurately reflected in all distribution channels.

  • Maintain rate parity across multiple platforms 
  • Work closely with the sales, marketing, and reservations teams to align strategies and goals
  • Complete end of month sales report and prepare weekly sales strategy reports
  • Support the reservations team to ensure all Groups are contracted
  • Monitor and evaluate economic, political, and social issues/changes
  • Supports the Director of Revenue Management by conducting RevGen meetings and weekly yield meetings to review performance and discuss strategies
  • Participate in preparation of strategic plans for region
  • Works with Director of Revenue Management on manpower planning and management needs
  • Works with Director of Revenue Management in the preparation and management of the Department’s budget
  • Foster a collaborative environment between revenue management, reservations, sales, and marketing teams.
  • Communicate strategies, performance metrics, and adjustments clearly and effectively to all relevant stakeholders.

QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS

Required Skills / Experience

  • Essential of skill and knowledge of Opera (PMS).
  • 5 years related experience or 2 years reservations/front office experience as manager or assistant manager role, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • To lead the staffing control/employee satisfaction/the team development/cooperation with the other department/overseeing the technical issues.
  • To support and assist any other additional tasks requested by the Director of Revenue

 

Qualifications 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Hotel Management, Business Administration, or related field preferred
