We are currently seeking Casual Room Attendants to join our Housekeeping team.

Your Day to Day

As a Room Attendant, you will play an important role in delivering exceptional guest experiences by ensuring our accommodation is maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness, presentation, and comfort. Reporting to the Executive Housekeeper, you will take pride in creating welcoming spaces that allow our guests to relax, unwind, and enjoy every moment of their stay.

In this role, you will:

• Service and clean guest rooms to the highest luxury and brand standards.
• Complete deep cleaning tasks and housekeeping projects as required.
• Ensure guest rooms, bathrooms, and public areas are presented impeccably and are guest-ready at all times.
• Attend to guest requests promptly, professionally, and with a guest-first mindset.
• Identify and report maintenance issues to ensure rooms remain in excellent condition.
• Maintain housekeeping pantries, linen stores, and cleaning equipment.
• Follow all cleaning procedures and safe handling practices for chemicals and equipment.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues across Housekeeping and other departments to support operational success.
• Maintain compliance with Workplace Health & Safety policies and procedures.
• Participate in team briefings, training sessions, and development opportunities.
• Uphold IHG brand standards, policies, and values in all aspects of your work.

What We Need From You

Ideally, you'll bring:

• Previous experience in a housekeeping, cleaning, hotel, or resort environment.
• A strong commitment to cleanliness, presentation, and quality standards.
• Exceptional attention to detail and pride in delivering consistently high-quality work.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• The ability to work independently and effectively manage your workload.
• A positive attitude and willingness to contribute as part of a team.
• The ability to work in a physically demanding environment, including lifting, pushing, bending, and standing for extended periods.
• Knowledge of safe chemical handling and workplace health and safety practices.
• Strong time management skills and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Flexibility to work a rotating roster including weekends, public holidays, and varied shift times.
