Your day to day 

  • Prepare and cook Spanish & Mediterranean dishes according to menu specifications, maintaining high standards of taste, presentation, and consistency.
  • Assist in training, supervising, and mentoring kitchen staff, ensuring adherence to recipes, cooking techniques, and hygiene standards.
  • Contribute to the development and innovation of menu items, incorporating seasonal ingredients and contemporary trends while respecting traditional flavors.
  • Monitor and ensure the quality of all dishes prepared, including taste, presentation, and portion sizes. Address and resolve any issues with food quality or presentation promptly.
  • Oversee inventory levels, order supplies, and manage food cost efficiently. Ensure proper storage and handling of ingredients to minimize waste and maintain freshness.
  • Ensure all kitchen operations comply with health, safety, and sanitation regulations. Maintain a clean and organized workspace, and enforce proper hygiene practices among staff.
  • Assist in managing kitchen operations during busy service periods, ensuring timely and efficient preparation and delivery of dishes.
  • Work closely with the Executive Chef and other kitchen staff to foster a collaborative and positive working environment. Communicate effectively with front-of-house staff to ensure smooth service.
