InterContinental Dubai Marina is a Five Star luxury hotel & residence in the heart of Dubai Marina with 328 rooms and residence suites, flexible event space and restaurants & bars. With over 30 languages and countries represented by the staff, the hotel weaves together an international five-star presence.

A little taste of your day-to-day

Your role will include but not be limited to:

• Perform sewing duties, including altering, fitting, and mending uniforms for hotel colleagues.
• Fit new employees with existing or new uniforms.
• Tailor, mend, and alter uniforms to meet the hotel standards.
• Maintain equipment and keep the working area clean and organized.
• Attend to guest requests for alterations and mending of personal clothing items.
• Sew and repair curtains, cushions, and wall coverings for public areas and guest rooms.
• Assist in the preparation of costumes for special events to ensure guest satisfaction.
• Check all linen and uniform repairs daily to ensure quality and readiness.
• Comply with hotel rules, regulations, and company grooming standards.
•   Demonstrate excellent service by being attentive to both internal and external guests, fulfilling requests promptly, and anticipating needs.

Ideally, you'll have some or all the following qualifications and experience we're looking for:

• Minimum of 1 – 2 years of experience in similar role
• Strong interpersonal skills and excellent command of written and spoken English. Additional language is an advantage
• Flexible with working hours and a team player.
• Should be impeccably groomed and presentable.
• Flexible with the rotating shifts.
