A little taste of your day-to-day:

Every day is different, but you’ll mostly be:

● Preparing, cooking, and presenting high-quality dishes within your assigned kitchen section in accordance with brand standards and recipes

● Assisting the Chef de Partie in ensuring smooth and efficient kitchen operations during service

● Maintaining consistency in food preparation, portioning, and presentation to deliver exceptional guest experiences

● Monitoring stock levels, ensuring proper storage of ingredients, and minimizing food waste

● Following all food safety, sanitation, and hygiene standards to meet or exceed local regulations and company requirements

● Supporting the training and development of Commis Chefs and kitchen colleagues when required

● Ensuring your workstation, equipment, and tools are clean, organized, and in excellent working condition

● Working collaboratively with the culinary team to achieve departmental goals and provide a seamless dining experience for guests

● Taking on other duties and responsibilities as assigned to support the success of the kitchen operation

What we need from you:

● Diploma or certification in Culinary Arts, Hospitality, or a related field preferred

● Minimum of 2 years of culinary experience, preferably in a hotel, resort, or high-volume restaurant environment

● Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques, kitchen operations, and food safety practices

● Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail

● The strength and flexibility to lift, push, pull, and carry items as required, including standing for extended periods, bending, and kneeling

● Willingness to work flexible schedules, including nights, weekends, and public holidays

● Good communication and teamwork skills with a positive and professional attitude

● Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English and the local language

● Knowledge of HACCP principles and local food safety regulations is an advantage
