Integrated Wellness Practitioner 

As an Integrated Wellness Practitioner, I will fully comprehend the vision of Six Senses to help people reconnect with themselves, others, and the world around them, and our values of local sensitivity and global sensibility, crafted experiences, emotional hospitality, responsible and caring, fun and quirky, and pioneering wellness. 

Sustainability, Wellness, and Out of the Ordinary experiences are at the core of everything we do at Six Senses. I will safeguard these pillars and their strategic planning and development and ensure all directives, practices, and initiatives are implemented, embraced, and adopted within the hotel/resort.

Duties and Responsibilities 

As an Integrated Wellness Practitioner, I will assume full responsibility for the efficient operation of the Spa & Wellness department to provide exceptional products and services within the brand's operating standards.    

The duties and responsibilities will include: 

• Conduct comprehensive guest evaluations upon arrival to determine their body constitution (prakriti) and current imbalances (vikriti).

• Design and oversee tailored resort wellness packages, including specific spa therapies, customized dietary plans (collaborating with our culinary team), and lifestyle routines.

• Oversee the execution of traditional Ayurvedic and Panchakarma therapies, ensuring our resort therapists maintain the highest standards of safety, authenticity, and guest comfort.

• Lead interactive wellness and mindfulness workshops and group sessions, empowering guests with practical wellness practices they can continue at home.

• Work closely with yoga instructors, Spa GSA, Spa Therapists, and resort chefs to deliver a seamless, 360-degree wellness experience.

• Deliver authentic Ayurveda treatments tailored to individual guest needs.

• Conduct private and group sessions in Yoga, Meditation, Sound Healing, and other wellness practices.

• Conduct Wellness Screenings and provide personalized recommendations, including appropriate treatment and retail product suggestions.

Qualifications

To execute the position of Integrated Wellness Practitioner, I must have the required qualifications, technical skills, and experience in a similar role in luxury hotels with proven results, including the following: 

• Minimum of three years’ experience in a similar or greater role in luxury spas and the industry with proven results.

• Valid medical license or registration to practice Ayurveda

• Graduated from a Wellness or Hotel Management program and hold a degree or certification in the following: Allopathic Doctorate, Ayurveda Doctor/Physician, Siddha, Traditional Arabic and Islamic Medicine, Tibetan Medicine, Traditional Thai Medicine, Traditional Chinese Medicine, Physiotherapy, Fitness and Nutrition, Naturopathy, Homeopathy, Anatomy and Physiology and/or similar health-related fields or have broad knowledge of anatomy and physiology and massage therapy.

• Exceptional communication skills with the ability to confidently connect with international guests and deliver high-end hospitality service.

• Indonesian Citizenship.
