This role is to amplify the preference of IHG’s Essential Brands among prospective owners and investors, to strengthen the development of such brands (including Holiday Inn, Even, Atwell Suites and Holiday Inn Express) across the GC market, while also to identify and explore new avenues for their growth.
Your day to day
Development Support- to support the Development initiatives related to Essential Brands across the region:
- Closely work with cross-functional teams and internal stakeholders to stay on top of all updates and initiatives of Essential Brands including brand and product development, commercial performance, owner feedback, signing perspective, and competitor insights.
- Develop and update development marketing collaterals, including and not limited to website, pitching decks, presentation templates, posters, and prospective owner facing value propositions for Essential brands.
- Support prospective owner relationships including coordination on signing ceremonies.
Content Marketing initiatives related to Essential Brands aimed at increasing brand preferences:
- Own and manage/operate owned media channels for the Holiday Inn Express Development account (wechat account and video channel).
- Initiate regular livestream to maintain online owner engagement.
- Partner with trade media to produce related postings to promote Essential Brands.
- Monitor and analyze the performance of the digital communication channels.
- Explore additional avenues to drive brand awareness and brand preferences
Lead generation - managing the lead generation system and ads placement for Essential Brands:
- Manage Essential Brands related advertisement on different channels.
- Collaborate with external partners to screen the leads and try to convert into MQLs through cold calls.
- Analyze, track and optimize lead generation and conversion ratio across all channels.
- Analyze, track internal referrals and issue rewards.
Owner/Industry engagement - Lead/manage various owner events and industry events:
- Organize and support owner roadshows, salons and dinners to support development.
- Maximize Essential Brands’ exposure through industry events.
- Support development leaders to participate in various industry events.
What we need from you
- Bachelor's or Master's Degree in a relevant field
- Minimum 8 years (or 6 years if with a Master’s Degree) related work experience.
- Demonstrated track-records in project management, organizing, planning and executing large-scale projects from conception through implementation.
- Demonstrated experience working in large organizations with multiple functions
- Strong computer literacy skills, particularly in Microsoft PowerPoint.
- Proficiency in English writing and verbal communication.
- Knowledge of hotel investment and development lifecycle and competitive landscape.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with cross functions and with senior management, including presentation skills and with a high degree of impact and influence.
- Strategic thinking with long term and big picture perspective, process and result driven.
- Demonstrated project management skills and knowledge.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, with a process design capability.
- Ability to work independently and possess a sense of urgency required to work in a deadline-driven environment.
- Team player who works well with a diverse group of people to accomplish complex tasks; collaborates well with others.
- Able to multi-task and be willing and able to “wear many hats.”
