Membership Manager for Six Senses Place, our first members club!

Sustainability, Wellness and Out of the Ordinary experiences are at the core of everything we do at Six Senses. I will safeguard these pillars and its strategic planning and development and ensure all directives, practices and initiatives are implemented, embraced, adopted within the hotel.

Duties and Responsibilities  

As Membership Manager, I will manage the efficient operation of my department to provide exceptional products and services within Six Senses brand operating standards and budget.

The duties and responsibilities will include: 

  • Developing and implementing membership strategies to attract, onboard, retain, and engage high-value members.
  • Designing a structured membership journey, including onboarding, retention initiatives, and ongoing engagement strategies to cultivate long-term member satisfaction.
  • Overseeing the creation and delivery of exclusive experiences and benefits for club members.
  • Acting as the guardian of the club’s community, ensuring the integrity and balance of the membership profile while curating a pipeline of prospective members who align with the club’s ethos.
  • Ensuring a high-touch, personalized member experience, proactively understanding and responding to individual preferences and expectations.
  • Maintaining strong relationships with existing members and fostering a deep sense of community within the club.
  • Collaborating with wellness, programming, and events teams to ensure that club offerings evolve dynamically and align with member interests.
  • Overseeing membership policies and governance, ensuring fair and transparent processes for upgrades, suspensions, guest access, and other member-related decisions.
  • Monitoring and tracking key commercial performance metrics, including renewal rates, participation in events, and overall engagement, ensuring that membership remains both commercially viable and valuable.
  • Managing the membership budget, including forecasting, cost control, and revenue optimization.
  • Ensuring all club activities adhere to Six Senses brand standards and local regulations.

Qualifications

To execute the position of Membership Manager, I must have the required qualifications, technical skills and experience in a similar role in luxury hospitality with proven results and includes the following:

  • A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field, with 5+ years of experience in membership management, luxury service industries, or a related sector.
  • Strong understanding of membership retention strategies, customer relationship management (CRM), and community building.
  • Proven ability to design and implement successful membership strategies to attract, onboard, and retain high-value members.
  • Experience with CRM systems and data analytics tools to track and improve member engagement and retention.
  • Fluent in English; I understand that additional languages are preferred.
