In this role you will be responsible for organizing the Future Leader project management work and performing a variety of specialist duties and assisting GC Early Careers strategy projects including IHG Academy, Future Leaders and Employer Branding related activities. You will build strong relationships with GC IHG Academy school leaders and support Hotels to promote Early Careers in GC region, as well as maintain sound communication with global Early Careers Team in projects and events.
Your day to day
• Assist and conduct activities as related to GC Early Careers initiatives, manage and maintain IHG Skills Academy online learning platform and other relevant resources as required within the speciality.
• Assist in GC IHG Academy program. Redesign and redeploy Academy training materials for both students and teachers in the fields of hospitality functional knowledge and general, leadership competency.
• Define the rights, interests, and responsibilities of GC school partners.
• Design and develop relevant training course updates. Ensure that all programs and training materials adhere to IHG’s internal standards, policies, and industry regulations, maintaining high levels of quality and consistency.
• Plan and organize workshop/engagement events with partner schools as per plan.
• To track the feedback and evaluate the outcome, providing actionable insights to leaders.
• Assist in identifying and developing potential partner schools.
• Responsible for managing and maintaining IHG Academy database system.
• Update the annual IHG Academy & related IHG Skills Academy courses brochure.
• Plan and organize Annual IHG Academy Conference event.
• Assist in responding to and/or resolving internal/external inquiries regarding problems, complaints, and/or general information.
• Build and maintain relationships with educational institutions, industry partners, and internal departments to ensure successful program execution and alignment with business goals.
• Well manage the FLA whole administration process, including enrollment, execution, evaluation, etc.
• Initiate relevant engagement activities or training programs for FLA participants to ensure they benefit highly from this program.
• Maintain an accurate FLA database, generate reports, evaluate the effectiveness of the program and provide decision-making support to management.
• Other administrative activities assigned by the team leader.
What we need from you
• Bachelor's degree and above
• At least 3 years of HR-related or hotel operation experience
• Effective oral and written communication skills in both English and Mandarin/Chinese.
• Strong PC skills including software packages (i.e. Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.).
• Detail-oriented & with good problem-solving skills.
• Strong organizational and work coordinating skills to handle multiple assignments and projects.
• Work collaboratively and have good interpersonal skills.
