Role Summary:

Provide technical expertise in multiple technologies to assist and support the Americas IHG hotels.  Areas of expertise include Property Management Systems (PMS) Opera and HotelKey, their connected interfaces, data networks, IT infrastructure, Computer hardware and software, business management applications, hotel revenue generation systems and other hotel hospitality systems. 

 

Your Day to Day:

  • Collaborate with PMS vendors and hotels to resolve interface issues, including Serial and IP interfaces.
  • Ability to work across a matrix organization and support hotels with complex technology inquiries and direct them to appropriate IHG resources.
  • Manage PMS and hospitality systems configuration updates.
  • Participate in technology projects such as OS upgrades, security patches, and hardware refreshes.
  • Troubleshoot hotel networks and assist new hotel openings with technology challenges, providing leadership with status reports.

 

What We Need From You

  • 4 to 7 years of progressive business experience, with a focus on troubleshooting complex technical issues.
  • Proficient in resolving PMS-related interface challenges (e.g., Door Lock, PBX, POS, Energy Management, etc).
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly advanced Excel functions, and project management experience.
  • Strong vendor management skills to work with the different vendors that provide technology into our hotels.
  • Excellent communication skills, adapting to user needs in both verbal and written formats.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects efficiently while maintaining a high-quality customer-focused orientation and understanding of Property Management Systems, including Opera Versions 5.x and HotelKey.

Location – Atlanta, GA (Hybrid – 3 days a week in office)

 

Travel – 10% required

 

The salary range for this role is $58,834 to $130,000. This role is also eligible for bonus pay (as applicable). We offer a comprehensive package of benefits including paid time off, medical/dental/vision insurance, 401K, and other benefits to employees.
