InterContinental Jakarta Pondok Indah, a pinnacle of luxury and sophistication, is seeking a visionary and results-driven IT Manager to lead our technology strategy and digital infrastructure. As a key member of the leadership team, you will be responsible for driving technological innovation, safeguarding data security, ensuring continuous system availability, and optimizing IT operations to support seamless luxury hospitality experiences across the property. 

The Role

You will oversee all facets of Information Technology, primarily focusing on managing computer hardware, software, network infrastructure, and system security. You will craft and execute technology roadmaps, uphold strict compliance standards (such as PCI DSS), and ensure our IT systems align with long-term commercial and operational goals. 

Key Responsibilities

• Strategic Leadership & Infrastructure Management: Develop and drive a comprehensive technology roadmap for short-term and long-term hotel needs. Maintain optimal efficiency across all IT systems, including PC LAN technology, Front Office/POS Property Management Systems, servers, network hardware, and infrastructure. 
• System Security & Compliance: Maintain uncompromising physical and data security standards. Ensure strict adherence to PCI DSS, hotel IT security policies, firewalls, data backups, and computer virus protection. Conduct annual security training for hotel colleagues. 
• Operational Excellence & Disaster Recovery: Oversee routine maintenance, disaster recovery, and business continuity plans to ensure zero operational downtime. Monitor network performance, system performance logs, and perform regular hardware/software lifecycle assessments. 
• Financial & Vendor Management: Prepare and manage departmental operating and fixed asset budgets. Select and negotiate with approved software/hardware vendors, manage maintenance contracts, and evaluate technical proposals. 
• Team Leadership & Stakeholder Collaboration: Lead, mentor, and train the IT team while building technical capabilities across other hotel departments. Provide monthly progress reports and technical insights to the Hotel Manager, Director of Human Capital, Finance & Business Support, and Area IT Leadership. 

Requirements

• Technical Expertise: Bachelor’s Degree (S1), Diploma, or Vocational Certificate in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or a related field, with a deep understanding of networks, operating systems, databases, and PCI DSS compliance. 
• Proven Experience: A minimum of 4 years of related experience in IT set-up, network architecture, and troubleshooting, preferably within a luxury or upscale hotel environment. 
• Analytical & Problem-Solving Skills: Exceptional ability to diagnose complex technical issues, optimize network performance, and implement preventive measures. 
• Communication & Leadership: Strong communication skills in English, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and external vendors. 
• Strategic Mindset: Proven track record in managing IT budgets, vendor relations, and technology lifecycle planning in a fast-paced environment.
