Reservations Agent - Part Time

We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused Reservations Agent to join our Reservations team. 

About the Role

As a Reservations Agent, you will be responsible for managing accommodation enquiries and bookings across multiple market segments, including leisure, group, wholesale and travel agent reservations. You'll deliver outstanding customer service while maximising revenue opportunities through effective selling and upselling techniques.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage accommodation enquiries, quotations and reservations via phone, email and online channels.
• Convert enquiries into confirmed bookings through confident sales and service techniques.
• Provide accurate information on room availability, rates, packages, facilities and promotions.
• Process bookings, amendments, cancellations and payment requirements.
• Maintain accurate reservation records and guest profiles within hotel systems.
• Coordinate guest requests and special arrangements with operational departments.
• Liaise with travel agents, wholesalers and third-party partners.
• Respond professionally to guest feedback and enquiries.
• Support occupancy, inventory management and revenue optimisation initiatives.
• Promote hotel offers and loyalty program membership opportunities.

What We're Looking For

• Previous experience in reservations, hotels, hospitality or customer service preferred.
• Strong communication and organisational skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to multitask.
• Confidence using computer systems and learning new technology.
• A positive, team-focused attitude with a passion for delivering exceptional guest service.
• Flexibility to work a rotating roster, including weekends, public holidays and peak business periods.
