Director of Engineering (m/f/d)

Duties & Responsibilities include:

• Leading the engineering team and all aspects of the department
• Preparing the annual budget and financial planning for the department
• Setting performance and development targets for your colleagues and actively promoting them
• Planning preventive maintenance and servicing requirements for all of the property's technical systems, recognising and processing them
• Monitor energy consumption and plan and implement energy-saving measures
• Ensuring fulfilment of all official requirements in the technical and building law area
• Compliance with the specified standards of the InterContinental Hotels Group
• Coordination of external partners when carrying out technical inspections and maintenance work
• Business Partner as a member of the Executive Committee

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Several years of professional experience in the area of responsibility, ideally in the hotel industry
• Very good communication, presentation and negotiation skills in both German and English
• Ability to prioritize tasks and priorities
• Leadership experience and hands-on mentality
• Very good German and English skills
