Purpose of the Role
To provide strategic leadership, support and deliver Global Procurement and Supply Chain Operations to drive optimised performance from Global Procurement as a function and to support Owners & Hotels
Key Accountabilities
Contribute to the Global Procurement Operations (Operations) strategy, roadmap and service catalogue
Lead the overall set-up, development and delivery of Operations in location, coordinating with other hub leads.
Lead delivery of Operations team, including work allocation and prioritisation
Build relationships with key internal and external stakeholders, understanding challenges and customer priorities
Advise on continual improvement to ensure effectiveness and efficiency of the Operations team services delivered
Drive process improvement and automation opportunities for activities owned by Operations team
Develop and maintain reporting mechanisms on status of all projects and activities being delivered by the Operations team
Develop quality management reporting which ensured that service standards are being achieved per process
Oversee tactical delivery and support more complex supplier negotiations and sourcing activity
Act as escalation point for prioritisation across Operations to ensure resources are aligned to company and Global Procurement objectives
Hire, develop and engage talent in Operations team, including acting as the on-site support lead
Ensure strong adoption and Identify opportunities for expansion of Operations team’s service catalogue

Critical Knowledge and Experience
Desired Bachelor’s and/or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Finance, Sales, Hospitality or relevant field of work
Significant experience (7+ years) leading and managing an Operations procurement / shared services team
Experience designing, managing and evolving a procurement shared service team
Significant experience in managing competing priorities and managing senior stakeholders expectations
Ability to lead, motivate, develop, mentor and coach future talent
Excellent communication skills (India: English, MLAC: English and Spanish)
Excellent organisational skills
Excellent relationship management skills, ability to communicate effectively throughout the business both vertically and horizontally
