Minibar Runner – Six Senses Kanuhura

Duties and Responsibilities 
As Minibar Runner, I will assume full responsibility for the efficient operation in the following: 
•    Replenish and maintain minibar stock in all guest villas, suites, and residences according to resort standards. 
•    Monitor minibar consumption and ensure timely and accurate posting of charges to guest accounts. 
•    Conduct daily inspections of minibar items to ensure product quality, expiry dates, presentation, and cleanliness. 
•    Maintain established par stock levels of beverages, snacks, and minibar supplies. 
•    Prepare and collect required stock supplies for daily operations. 
•    Ensure all minibar refrigerators and storage areas are clean, organized, and functioning properly. 
•    Coordinate with Housekeeping, Front Office, and Finance departments regarding minibar discrepancies and guest requests. 
•    Report maintenance issues, damaged items, and stock shortages to the appropriate department. 
•    Maintain inventory records and assist with monthly stock counts and audits. 
•    Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards in all minibar storage and service areas. 
•    Uphold Six Senses guidelines and standards of service and operation. My performance benchmarks are maintained and exceeded. 
•    Strictly adhere to LQA standards and guest feedback requirements. 

Qualifications
To execute the position of Minibar Runner, I must have the required qualifications, technical skills and experience in a similar role in luxury hotels with proven results and includes the following:

•    High school diploma or equivalent and at least 1-2 years’ experience in a similar hotel operational setting. Hospitality diploma/degree from a recognized hospitality school is preferred. 
•    Technical skills include MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook). I am also familiar with various hotel systems including POS and PMS platforms. 
•    Good knowledge of minibar operations, inventory control, stock management, and guest service standards. 
•    Ability to handle beverages and food items in accordance with hygiene and food safety regulations. 
•    Fluent in English; additional languages are preferred.
