As a professional in your role, your responsibilities and essential job functions will include but are not limited to:

• Paint and Finish Surfaces: Apply high-quality paint, varnishes, and finishes to various surfaces, ensuring a smooth and professional appearance.
• Wallcovering Installation: Measure, cut, and install wallpaper or other wall coverings accurately, ensuring seamless edges and smooth finishes.
• Polish and Maintain Surfaces: Polish wood, metal, and other materials to restore their luster and ensure a clean, polished appearance.
• Surface Preparation: Prepare surfaces for painting by sanding, scraping, cleaning, and applying primer as needed.
• Repairs and Touch-Ups: Conduct touch-ups and repairs on painted and polished surfaces, ensuring consistency in color and finish.
• Quality Control: Inspect completed work for any defects or inconsistencies, ensuring it meets company and client standards.
• Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety guidelines and protocols when handling materials, tools, and working at heights or in confined spaces.
• Collaboration with Other Departments: Work closely with the maintenance team to ensure all areas of the hotel or facility are aesthetically maintained.
• Maintain Tools and Equipment: Regularly clean and maintain tools, equipment, and supplies to ensure optimal performance and longevity.
• Customer Service: Provide excellent service to internal teams, guests, or clients when completing any painting, polishing, or wallpapering tasks.

Ideally, you should possess some or all the following qualifications and experience:

• Experience: Proven experience in painting, polishing, and wallpaper installation (preferably in hotel or commercial settings).
• Technical Skills: Knowledge of various painting techniques, surface preparation methods, and wallpaper installation practices.
• Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail with an ability to produce high-quality, precise work.
• Physical Stamina: Ability to work in various environments, including standing for long periods, working at heights, and handling heavy equipment.
• Tools and Equipment: Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and other equipment related to painting, polishing, and wallpaper installation.
• Safety Knowledge: Understanding of safety procedures related to the handling of chemicals, tools, and working conditions (e.g., ladders, scaffolding).
• Communication Skills: Good communication skills to interact with team members and clients, ensuring clarity in expectations and instructions.
• Problem-Solving: Ability to troubleshoot issues and find creative solutions for challenges during the painting, polishing, or wallpaper installation processes.
• Certification: Relevant certifications in painting, wallpapering, or related fields are a plus but not required.
• Flexibility: Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends if necessary.
