InterContinental Wellington is host to outstanding culinary excellence and an array of 5 Food & Beverage outlets to suit every occasion.

We are looking for a fantastic Conference & Events Co-ordinator to join our close-knit Sales & Marketing department.

Your day to day

The Conference & Events Coordinator serves as the primary point of contact for clients looking to host meetings, conferences and events at InterContinental Wellington. The role is responsible for securing the right business at the right price while consistently delivering on the InterContinental brand promise.

Success in this position requires building and maintaining strong relationships with both internal and external stakeholders, ensuring seamless communication throughout the planning and execution process. A high level of attention to detail is essential, alongside accurate administration, effective coordination, and the maintenance of comprehensive client profiles to deliver exceptional guest experiences and repeat business.

The role plays a key part in ensuring every event is planned and executed to the highest standard, contributing to the hotel's commercial success and reputation for excellence.

What we need from you

• 1 year administrative role 
• Experience multitasking a high-volume workload while working to tight deadlines 
• Strong communication skills with colleagues, employees & third parties 
• Great attention to detail 
• Look smart - wear your uniform with pride
•  Delphi/ Opera / Concerto knowledge a advantage
