Job Description

At Crowne Plaza, we like to lead from the front. We’re looking for a Banquet Manager who sets high standards in service, team performance, and event execution. You’ll lead the banquet team and work closely with the Catering Sales and Culinary teams to ensure every event delivers an exceptional guest experience.

A little taste of your day-to-day:

Every day is different at IHG, but you’ll mostly be:

• Leading the way – managing banquet operations, team performance, and event execution.

• Planning for success – coordinating meetings, conferences, banquets, and catering events.

• Delivering memorable experiences – ensuring excellent service and resolving guest concerns professionally.

• Managing performance – monitoring departmental costs, budgets, and revenue targets.

• Developing your team – supporting recruitment, training, coaching, and team engagement.

What We Need From You:

● Diploma or degree in Hotel Management, Food & Beverage, or a related field preferred.

● Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in banquet operations, preferably in a supervisory role.

● Excellent communication, leadership, and organisational skills.

● Good command of English and the local language.

● Knowledge of banquet operations, food safety, hygiene, and service standards.

● Ability to work flexible shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
