Prepares the drinks (classic cocktails from the menu and also compositions of his choice) and provides service at the Bar.

Takes care of setting up, clearing, cleaning and tidying up the Bar.

Ensures the smooth service: takes orders, announces orders at the Bar, prepares the bills, handles payments and receipts, clears and cleans the tables.

Handles the cash register, monitors beverage stocks: orders from suppliers, reception and storage of bottles.

Knows perfectly all the cocktails, alcohols, liqueurs and various drinks on sale at the Bar, as well as their composition, dosage and price.

Knows the menus as well as the different hotel offers to inform guests and promote them.

Ensures an efficient, attentive and discreet service, makes the guests’ feel at ease. 

Listens to guests attentively in order to take their remarks and wishes into account and communicate them to his hierarchy.

Reports any guest complaint to his hierarchy and helps to resolve it.

Keeps informed of all events taking place inside and outside the hotel (fairs, conventions, meetings, exhibitions, etc.).

Learns and follows standard operating procedures and quality standards within his service.

Respects internal regulations in terms of grooming and dress code: state of uniforms, hygiene, presentation, attitude and behavior.

Is responsible for the respect of his department’s equipment and furniture.

Manages the cleaning and maintenance of the Bar's machines and equipment.

Builds and maintains effective relationships with the other departments.

Conveys the right values and the good behaviors in his service as well as towards his colleagues and his hierarchy.

Informs the Management Team of any incident or problem that occurs during work hours, particularly those he is not able to solve or whose importance justifies it, whether it concerns work-related issues or employee-related problems.

Applies procedures and policies within the hotel and all new procedures according to the management orders.

Applies the internal procedures in terms of health, hygiene and safety.

Applies and enforces environmental good practices in his department, particularly as part of the Green Globe certification (waste sorting, black & white printing, paperless meeting, etc.).

May exceptionally perform other duties at the request of his hierarchy.

 

PROFIL : 

Higher degree in Hospitality. Minimum 2 to 3 years of experience in a similar position in a hotel establishment of the same category (4- or 5-star) and capacity (+200 rooms). In-depth knowledge of Mixology. Fluent French and English. Mastering a third foreign language of one of our target markets (Germany, China, India, Italy, Middle East, Netherlands, Russia) is highly desirable.

Excellent knowledge of Simphony. Dexterity, speed of execution, good memory and creativity.

Excellent presentation, strong service-orientation.

Good interpersonal skills, capacity to work in a team. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

Sense of discretion and confidentiality.
