InterContinental Sorrento Mornington Peninsula is seeking a part time Reservations Agent to join our charming, confident, and internationally minded team who knows how to exceed guest expectations. This is an excellent opportunity to learn and work closely with a number of departments in a Hotel setting.  

A little taste of your day to day 

• Showcase your knowledge of the Mornington Peninsula region by sharing recommendations for events, places of interests and restaurants.  
• Answering reservation queries for upcoming stays and inhouse guests.  
• Collaborating with the Sales and Marketing team to coordinate group accommodations.  
• Collaborating with the Sales and Finance teams to assist in invoicing.  
• Assist in resolving guest concerns and use their feedback to improve guest experience and satisfaction.  
• Be an InterContinental brand ambassador by delivering exceptional guest service.  

What we need from you 

• Ideally you will have previous hotel experience in reservations or front office environment. 
• Positive attitude and commitment to providing expectational guest service and experience.  
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.  
• Strong attention to detail and organisational ability.  
• Availability to work a rotating roster between 7am to 7pm over 7 days. 
• Opera knowledge is highly desirable. 
• Administrative experience is highly desirable.
