InterContinental Wellington is looking for a Reservations & Administration Support to join our team and work closely with the Commercial Team!
Your Role
You will use your professional but personalised approach to offer prompt and knowledgeable customer experiences through looking after all reservations queries and support the Reservation and Commercial department in achieving targets. You will conduct appropriate yield management and actively contribute towards revenue generation. This position is vital to the sales, marketing and revenue function by providing current, accurate information on both the internal reservation situation and the external climate with which the hotel operates.
- Ensure that administrative responsibilities are completed efficiently.
- Record and process guest reservations
- Support the revenue and sales teams in bookings management.
- Actively contribute towards revenue generation and support the department in achieving goals.
- Build strong relationships with clients to provide a seamless reservations experience to our guests.
What You'll Need
- At least 3 years' experience in Reservations or Front Office with a strong understanding of hotel operations
- Strong administration & computer skills
- Work well as part of a team
- Previous experience working in a hotel environment and experience using a property management system such as Opera
- Confidence in your communication skills and the ability to interact with customers and colleagues
- Have strong English speaking and writing
- Relevant qualification of Level 4 or higher on the NZ Qualifications and Credentials Framework.
