As Restaurant Manager, I will fully comprehend the vision of Six Senses to help people reconnect with themselves, others and the world around them and our values of local sensitivity and global sensibility, crafted experiences, emotional hospitality, responsible and caring, fun and quirky and pioneering wellness.
Sustainability, Wellness and Out of the Ordinary experiences are at the core of everything we do at Six Senses. I will safeguard these pillars and its strategic planning and development and ensure all directives, practices and initiatives are implemented, embraced, adopted within the hotel/resort.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Manage all aspects of food and beverage outlet on a daily basis and coordinate special events.
- Maintain exceptional levels of customer service
- Achieve budgeted revenues, control expenses and labor costs, and maximize profitability within all areas of the food and beverage outlet.
- Evaluate guest satisfaction levels with a focus on continuous improvement
- Manage guest queries in a timely and efficient manner
- Maintain procedures to ensure the security and proper storage of restaurant inventory, and equipment, the security of monies, credit and financial transactions.
- Instill a cost-focused philosophy through training and education.
- Work within budgeted guidelines in relation to Food, Liquor Costs and Payroll
- Set outlet targets and objectives, work schedules, budgets, and policies and procedures
- Accountable for monthly stock takes
- Incentivise hosts to maximize sales and revenue
- Recruit, manage, train and develop the team
- Ensure communication meetings are conducted and post-meeting minutes generated
- Ensure compliance of brand standards
What are we looking for?
- Management and/or supervisory Food and Beverage experience
- Fluent in English and Hebrew (Mandatory)
- Experience in the hotel industry
- Proven leadership and management skills
- Flexibility to respond to a range of different work situations
- Ability to work under pressure
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays
The position is located in Shahrut, Arava dessert
