The Carlton Cannes, a Regent Hotel, reopened on March 2023, following its entire renovation and extension project. Our hotel has not experienced such a transformation since its first opening in 1913. The “Grande Dame” enters a new century and we are delighted to write each day the new chapter of its history. 

The hotel has been completely renovated and now boasts two extended wings revealing new suites, a 2,000m² indoor garden with bar and infinity pool, a fitness & spa area and a 1,800m² conference center. 

The Carlton Cannes, a Regent Hotel is looking for his/her Director of Sales specializing in the Middle East market to join our team and contribute to the success of our hotel. 

Reporting to the Sales and Marketing Director, you will be a key member of the hotel team. By developing the Middle East market, you will increase sales and optimize the profitability of the Carlton Cannes, its suites, Penthouse suites, Residences and the Carlton Beach Club. 

 

You will be responsible for carrying out the following tasks to the highest standards: 

- Develop the customer portfolio, which will include the most influential people in the Middle East (Government, Diplomats, members of the Royal Family, etc.). 

- Participate in drawing up the Marketing Plan, implementing actions to achieve the objectives set in line with the assigned budget. 

- Managing administration (monitoring contracts, reporting, etc.). 

- Position the hotel as a leader on the local and international market and promote the hotel's marketing strategy on all available channels. 

- Plan and execute trips to your market and identify potential clients to approach. 

- Analyzing markets, economic conditions and the changes affecting them, in order to draw up a strategic plan in response. 

 

QUALIFICATIONS 

To be successful in this role, you will ideally possess the following qualifications, attitude, behaviours, skills and values: 

- With a higher education background in Sales & Marketing and/or Hotel Management, you will have a strong commercial sense. 

- You will have at least 3 years' successful experience in the same or a similar role in France and abroad in high-end, large-capacity establishments. 

- Ideally, you will have a solid network within the expatriate community. 

- You have strong oral and written communication skills and enjoy working in a demanding, fast-moving environment. 

- Fluency in English and Arabic is required. 

- You have in-depth knowledge of the hotel / events / services sector. 

- You are known for your strong organizational skills, speed of execution, sense of responsibility, resilience and high availability. 

- You are familiar with Opera, Delphi and Office 365 environment. 

- You are adaptable enough to handle several projects at once. 

- You are familiar with the culture of luxury and are sensitive to all the codes of this world. 

- Your discretion, listening skills and attention to detail will be essential to your success in this role. 

- You must meet the legal requirements for working in France.
