About the Role:

The Spa and Wellness Manager plays a pivotal role in ensuring a luxurious and rejuvenating experience for guests at our resort. You will lead a team of skilled therapists and wellness professionals, overseeing all aspects of the spa and wellness operation.

Responsibilities:

  • Leadership and Team Management:
    • Recruit, hire, train, and develop a team of highly qualified spa therapists and wellness professionals.
    • Foster a positive and professional work environment that promotes teamwork and guest satisfaction.
    • Conduct performance reviews and provide ongoing coaching and development opportunities.
  • Operations Management:
    • Develop and implement a strategic vision for the spa and wellness program, aligning with the overall resort goals.
    • Manage the spa budget effectively and ensure profitability.
    • Oversee daily operations, including scheduling, booking appointments, inventory management, and ensuring smooth operation of all spa facilities.
    • Develop and maintain high standards for spa treatments, hygiene, and sanitation.
  • Marketing and Sales:
    • Create and implement marketing strategies to promote spa and wellness services to resort guests.
    • Develop and manage relationships with local travel agents, tour operators, and wellness partners.
    • Oversee the development and implementation of attractive spa packages and promotions.
  • Guest Experience:
    • Ensure exceptional customer service and exceed guest expectations by providing personalized spa experiences.
    • Develop and maintain strong relationships with guests, addressing any concerns promptly and professionally.
    • Stay up-to-date on the latest spa and wellness trends to offer guests innovative and effective treatments.
  • Compliance and Safety:
    • Ensure compliance with all local and regional health and safety regulations.
    • Maintain a safe and clean spa environment by implementing proper sanitation procedures and risk management protocols.
    • Stay informed of industry best practices and implement them within the spa operations.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in hospitality management, spa management, or a related field (preferred)
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a spa or wellness management role
  • Proven track record of increasing spa revenue and profitability
  • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent customer service and relationship management skills
  • In-depth knowledge of spa treatments, wellness trends, and best practices
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively
  • Proficient in spa management software and relevant computer programs
