Teen Academy 2024, Holiday Inn Express Fort Cavazos

Role Purpose

As a Teen Academy participant– you’ll make sure our rooms and suites are always ‘fresh and welcoming’ for our guests after a busy day at work – creating a haven for them to escape and relax in - or get a bit of last minute work done. 

Key Accountabilities

Working alongside our Room Attendant team to clean and service our guestrooms.

· Work alongside our Houseperson team to clean public areas, bathrooms, trash removal, and restocking of housekeeping carts.

· You will spend a training day with the Maintenance team to understand the mechanical operations of the building.

· You will work in the laundry facility to understand the process flow of the hotels’ linen.

· Work in the breakfast facility to learn about food prep and service.

· Participate in field trip activities.

· Join in community service activities.

· Complete an essay review of your Teen Academy experience.

This job requires the ability to perform the following**:

• Carrying or lifting items weighing up to 50 pounds and pushing and or pulling approximately 200 pounds

• Frequently standing up and moving about the facility

• Frequently handling objects and equipment to maintain the facility

• Frequently bending, stooping, and kneeling
