We’re looking for an Account Director to help grow IHG’s government sector business across Europe. This newly created role combines strategic account management with new business development, giving you the opportunity to build strong partnerships, open new markets and deliver meaningful revenue growth.

Your day-to-day
•    Identify and secure new government sector opportunities across Europe.
•    Build trusted relationships with government departments, agencies and procurement contacts.
•    Develop and manage a portfolio of strategic government accounts.
•    Create a sustainable pipeline and deliver agreed annual revenue targets.
•    Grow Groups & Meetings and Corporate Travel business.
•    Develop market knowledge and regional networks across key European markets.

What we need from you
•    Hospitality sales or business development experience, ideally within hotels.
•    A strong track record of winning new business and growing revenue.
•    Experience working with government sector clients from a hospitality perspective.
•    Commercial acumen and confidence influencing senior stakeholders.
•    A self-motivated, adaptable and resilient approach.
•    Fluent English; additional European languages would be advantageous.
