Job Overview

InterContinental Buckhead Atlanta is seeking a dedicated and service-oriented Bellperson to join our team in a full-time position. As one of the first and last points of contact for our guests, you will play an essential role in creating memorable experiences from arrival through departure.

You will deliver warm, personalized, and attentive service while assisting guests with luggage, transportation, hotel information, and special requests. This role is ideal for someone who takes pride in hospitality and enjoys creating genuine connections with guests.

Key Responsibilities

• Welcome and acknowledge all guests upon arrival and departure.
• Assist guests with luggage, including loading, unloading, storing, and delivering items to guest rooms.
• Escort guests to their rooms and explain hotel facilities, amenities, and services.
• Provide recommendations and directions for local attractions, restaurants, shopping, and entertainment.
• Respond promptly and professionally to guest requests and inquiries.
• Assist with transportation arrangements, including taxis and rideshare services.
• Deliver messages, packages, amenities, and other items to guest rooms.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming hotel entrance and bell service area.
• Safely operate luggage carts and handle guest belongings with care.
• Communicate effectively with Front Office, Concierge, Valet, and other hotel departments.
• Anticipate guest needs and proactively create memorable experiences.
• Follow all hotel, safety, security, and brand standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous experience in hospitality, hotel guest services, concierge, or customer service preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to provide exceptional service in a fast-paced environment.
• Professional appearance, positive attitude, and genuine passion for hospitality.
• Knowledge of the Atlanta area is a plus.
• Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull luggage and other items.
• Must be available to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
