Your Day To Day

 

  • Assist, directs and maintains all aspects of the operations team/tasks across Club InterContinental by ensuring product quality and that optimum service is provided to all its guests in accordance with Brand standards, policies and guidelines established by IHG Hotels & Resorts.

  • At the start of each shift, verify the availability of supplies, restocking from the stockroom as needed.
  • Regularly inspect the swimming pool, gym, locker rooms, and common areas for cleanliness, safety, and functionality.
  • Monitor and ensure proper functioning of all recreational equipment, reporting any issues or unsafe conditions promptly to the supervisor.
  • Log, secure, and process lost and found items according to the hotel's established procedures.
  • Adhere to all health and safety regulations, including maintaining chemical levels in the pool and following emergency response protocols.
  • Welcome members and guests professionally, addressing them by name when possible and ensuring a positive first impression.
  • Respond promptly to guest complaints or special requests, escalating to the supervisor when necessary to ensure guest satisfaction.
  • Provide accurate information about available services, facilities, and activities within the gym and the hotel.
  • Actively encourage guest participation in recreational programs and events to enhance their stay.
  • Coordinate and communicate effectively with team members and other departments to ensure smooth operations and high-quality service.
  • Assist team members during peak times, including helping with poolside duties or special events.
  • Attend regular training sessions to stay updated on safety procedures, service standards, and new offerings.
  • Maintain the cleanliness of the pool area, gym, locker rooms, and other Health Club spaces throughout the shift.
  • Regularly clean and disinfect equipment, following established protocols to ensure hygiene and guest safety.
  • Be knowledgeable about emergency procedures, including pool rescues and gym-related incidents.
  • Regularly check for and address potential hazards, ensuring all areas are safe for guest use.
  • Assist with miscellaneous tasks or unexpected needs to support overall department operations.
  • Help in setting up and running recreational events or activities as directed by the supervisor.
  • Maintain accurate logs of guest interactions, incidents, or maintenance issues for departmental reporting.

 

What We Need From You

  • Basic reading, writing, and math skills. Some housekeeping experience and ability to speak English preferred
  • Must speak local language(s) 
  •  Other languages preferred.
