That's why we're searching for a skilled, proactive Duty Engineer who excels at multitasking and possesses top-notch repair and maintenance abilities. As a vital member of our team, the Duty Engineer will handle day-to-day maintenance needs and swiftly address technical challenges to keep our hotel operating seamlessly and efficiently. Working collaboratively and responding quickly, the ideal candidate ensures the hotel’s facilities remain in pristine condition, providing guests with an outstanding stay.
A little taste of your day-to-day:
Every day is different, but you’ll mostly be:
● Coordinating and directing daily engineering tasks to ensure the team is effectively assigned and tasks are completed efficiently
● Ensuring a safe, secure, and comfortable environment for all guests
● Managing inventory by maintaining and ordering parts and supplies, while minimizing waste and supporting the hotel's sustainability initiatives
● Demonstrating flexibility by responding to unexpected maintenance needs and collaborating with the team to resolve issues promptly
● Building and maintaining strong relationships with external contacts, including guests, regulatory agencies, and other relevant stakeholders
What We need from you:
● 1 year of relevant experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
● Professional certification and license (Mechanical or Electrical Engineer)
